Palmdale / Pete Knight High Schools are proud to host the 16th Annual Herb Wyre Invitational
on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Pete Knight High School. This meet will be conducted rain or shine.
Come be a part of this exciting track meet at Pete Knight High School�s 9 lane All-weather track.

Divisions: There will be two divisions this year:

Large Schools (Division A) based on C.I.F. enrollment

Small Schools & JV (Division B) based on C.I.F. enrollment

Awards: Top three finishers in each event. First and Second Place Team Awards for
both Large and Small schools Boys and Girls.

Entry fees: $150.00 per team, boys and girls: $300 for both. If you are competing in the Large

School division and will also have athletes in the JV division there will be an additional $50 fee.
Checks payable to Palmdale Track Booster Club.

Admission:

Spectators $5, students with ID $3, children 7 and under free.

There will be no meet day entries Entries will Close Tues. Feb. 26,2007 at 6PM There will be no exceptions

Events: Automated Timing System

RELAYS: 4x100, 4x800, 8x200, 4x400,

Distance Medley (1200, 400, 800, 1600), Sprint Medley (100,100,200,400)

RUNNING EVENTS: (2 athletes per event) 100, 1600, 100/110 hurdles

FIELD EVENTS: (3 athletes per event) Shot Put, Discus, Triple Jump, Long Jump,
(four attempts, no finals) High Jump, Pole Vault. Each athlete�s best mark will be
added together for a team score, all 3 of the top 3 teams in each field event will receive a medal.

Time: All events start at 9:00 a.m.

Concessions, tee shirts, and spikes will be available for purchase.

Spikes required are 3/16 needles.

All athletes will have their shoes checked at the entrance.
